Meet Ted Anderson
Ted is a 39-year-old AV-rated trial lawyer, member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, rated by Chambers, and is licensed to practice before the bars of Texas and New York. As lead trial lawyer, he has won multi-million dollar verdicts in employment, securities fraud, and antitrust cases. He has appeared before numerous state and federal courts of appeal, and his fraud and intellectual property cases have been decided by the Texas and US Supreme Court.
During Ted’s tenure as Managing Member, his law firm was recognized by Chambers as Band 1 and was routinely recognized as a Best Law Firm by Best Lawyers. Twice, it received an Obelisk Award from the Business Council for the Art. He and his law firm were hired by Fortune 500 companies, hedge funds, and law firms, and received referrals from AMLaw 100 law firms.
Outside of the law, Ted loves his family, considers himself an "ok" athlete, and is a middling artist who enjoys pencil drawings and poetry. He served for 13 years as Chair of the Development Committee for the University of Albany Foundation, and his firm received two Obelisk Awards during his six years on the Texas Business Council for the Arts. Currently, Ted is the Vice President for Development and Legal Director at the North Sea Maritime Center in his hometown of Southampton, NY, where he spends much of the summer paddleboarding, open-water swimming, rowing, and hosting family and friends.

For twenty years, Ted was the Managing Member of Kilgore & Kilgore, a boutique litigation law firm. He successfully guided the firm through the dot com bust, tort reform, and the pandemic shutdown, among other game-changing legal and economic crises.
